Good weatherhas been named Britain’s top everyday mood booster, with 35% of Brits saying it has the biggest impact on how their day feels, in a new survey exploring the nation’sfavourite‘small wins’.
With temperaturesheating upacross the UK, and World Cup fever gripping the nation, the findings suggestit’sno surprise that warm weather is having a noticeable impact on mood this summer.
To mark National Bingo Week, a new survey conducted by online bingo provider Zingo Bingo has delved into the “small wins” that lift our day-to-day wellbeing the most.
Aftergood weather, the most impactful moments include eating healthy (27%), completing a delayed task (26%), and cleaning the house (25%).
This suggests that feelings of getting some lingering life admindonematteralmost asmuch as lifestyle choices when it comes to mood.
Practical wellbeing habits also feature amongst the top responses, with just under a quarter opting for drinking enough water (24%), while getting an extra hour in bed (23%) also ranks higher than exercising (14%).
Meeting up with friends sits further down the list at 20%,indicatingthat social plans are not always amongst the strongest immediate mood boosters for many Brits.
At the lower end of the rankings, making the bed (13%) and completing a workout (14%) are among the least likely to be associated with an instant lift.
The new data suggests low-effort, andimmediatelyactionable wins tend to deliver more satisfaction to Brits looking for a mood boost than activities which take more time out of their day.
